Duluth Hiking Trails Temporarily Closed
By Northland's NewsCenter

The City of Duluth's Parks and Rec Department is asking the public to refrain from using city hiking trails, snowmobile trails and cross country ski trails.

Due to the spring thaw these trails have become soft and are now vulnerable to being damaged.

The public can help by staying off them until warmer temperatures and drier weather improve the trail conditions.

In addition, the Dog Park is also closed for these same concerns.

Trails that "are" open to the public at this time are the Lakewalk, the Munger Trail and the Western Waterfront Trail.

For more information please call the Parks and Recreation Department.
