SHE'S got walking in heels down pat, but how good is Miss Universe Australia Kimberley Busteed at strutting her stuff in hiking boots?
Kimberley will put those boot-walking skills to the test this week, when she heads to China on Wednesday to take part in The Great Walk to Beijing to raise money for an Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre in Melbourne.
In Gladstone for a whirl-wind trip this past weekend, which included judging the fashions on the field at the Capricornia Training Company Race Day in Rockhampton on Saturday; Kimberley said the anticipation for her trip to China was high.
"It's a very surreal experience and I'm so lucky to be able to be a part of it," Kimberley said.
"I'm so excited to be able to represent a lot of people who can't be there and take part themselves."
Taking part in the last two stages of the trek along the Great Wall of China, Kimberley will walk 72km at a 40 to 45 degree gradient.
"The trek will be tough, but I'll walk through the pain" she said.
Kimberley said she would like to thank the Gladstone community for their support so far.
"It's been great having the community behind me, but I'd like to encourage people to donate as little or as much as they can for this worthy cause," she said.
