Man exposes himself on hiking trail
By Marin Independent-Journal

A flasher may be on the loose again near Sleepy Hollow.

Sheriff's deputies received a report that a man exposed himself in a popular hiking area between San Rafael and San Anselmo.

Sheriff's Sgt. Keith Boyd confirmed the flasher report but said no suspect information was available Saturday.

Last September, a woman hiking on the ridge west of Terra Linda told authorities a man exposed himself on Mission Pass Terrace. It was the second such incident within two weeks in the area.

The flasher eluded authorities despite a manhunt that included sheriff's deputies, open space rangers and a California Highway Patrol helicopter.

The ridge area includes parts of Sleepy Hollow, San Rafael, and the Terra Linda-Sleepy Hollow Divide Open Space Preserve.
